not a very convincing example, imo. someone who *needs* an oxford comma for "eggs, toast and orange juice" because otherwise there would be no other possible interpretation than "eggs and an unappetizing combination of toast and juice" is seriously lacking in communication skills.
much better example:  "i spent the last weekend with my parents, neil armstrong and patti smith." vs "i spent the last weekend with my parents, neil armstrong, and patti smith."
