not a fan of what i've seen of his stand-up, but this interview is interesting (and entertaining). they talk about (actually misspelled that as "aboout" at first, hehe) his travelogue on the northwest passage and why it made him "a wee bit depressed", personal change, scottish stereotypes, the solitariness of the stand-up comedian, how he dealt with his history of sexual abuse, profanity, a hairy australian biker and why the show is called "q".

Mercury Prize winning rapper Speech Debelle was a recent Q guest. She performed three songs and sat down for an interview with Q host Jian Ghomeshi.
-- to say i don't listen to a lot of rap is an understatement. but i do listen to a lot of what q tv put up on their youtube channel (i've never heard of most of these artists! it's like radio! only without the crappy music!), and this is really pretty.
